Astrid joined Issuu in 2009 as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe. Her role at Issuu spans from business development to fund raising to marketing.
With over 15 years of experience in both print and digital publishing, Astrid loves creating new business models that will drive the next generation of publishing. When she's not working with publishers, Astrid spends her time advising early stage start-ups in Europe including Volans and Moviu.
Previously she worked as a business journalist and editor for top publishers including Harvard Business Review and Fast Company where she covered topics on social entrepreneurship and media and technology start-ups. Astrid has an MBA from IESE and an MA in publishing from Emerson College.
Originally from Madrid, Spain and fluent in Spanish, Astrid has lived most of her adult life in the United States. She currently resides in London, UK.
